Numbers ones and pretty girls
Nicola and Liam got married at the beautiful St Mary’s church in Old Basing, it was such a bright open church which always makes me excited! Following their ceremony we all stepped outside for photographs and a sea of confetti which was all concluded in perfect timing with the heavens opening! Check out the photo of Nikki running towards the wedding car and Liam chasing after her! I must say it reminds me of a ‘runaway bride’ moment!
Everyone headed off to the reception venue of the hidden treasure of Sandford Springs. If was warm inside but storm Brian was out in full force so I was unsure if Nikki and Liam would be ok to brave the elements. Luckily they were totally up for it and off we went. Nikki was whipped aggressively multiple times by a weeping willow whilst I took some couples photos but who would know!
Following the freezing *ahem relaxed couples session it was time for the bride and groom to mingle!
The rest of the day went without a hitch and the food was so lovely! (Thank you Liam and Nikki!) I must say the speeches got me as they nearly always do. I’m not going to lie, I’ve shed more than a few tears during speeches and this was one of those. In a nutshell I had the best time spending the day with simply awesome people that I didn’t want to leave at the end! Thank you Liam and Nikki for making me so welcome and asking me to document your gorgeous wedding day! xx
